On GLAMOUR Tries this week, Editor in Chief Deborah Joseph tried out the Dr. Harris Anti-Wrinkle Sleep Mask from Current Body. The eureka moment behind the mask came about when Dr. Harris was on a long-haul flight and found himself frowning while wearing his sleep mask - so he created the Anti-Wrinkle design to stop wrinkles from forming and aid relaxation. The mask uses silicone dots to stimulate mechanoreceptors (the tiny nerve endings in your face) which relaxes the muscles and helps to prevent wrinkles.

"This little mask, which looks like a normal sleep mask except it’s got these little studs on the inside, is apparently going to reduce my wrinkles by 64%. I only need to wear it for 15 minutes and not only will I see a reduction in wrinkles around my forehead and eyes, but also I will have a mindful relaxation experience," says Deborah.

She holds the mask up, showing the silicone on the inside, "it helps the nerve endings relax to create a calmer mood and apparently reduce wrinkles. I’m a little bit sceptical - not going to lie - because having tried all manner of beauty treatments in my life, although they do help, normally it takes months to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Generally I would say botox is the only thing that has done it for me personally, though I haven’t had it for about nine months so I’m in full movement and can test this properly."

Deborah puts the mask on and wears it for the full 15 minutes, allowing it to stimulate the autonomic nervous system and relax the body completely.
