A man has died after they were hit by a train at Manningtree station.
It happened just before 9.30am.
The British Transport Police said: "Officers attended alongside paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are now working to establish the man's identity and inform his family.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
